Joins Four Other Hopefuls in Seeking the Democratic Nomination to Serve our Community

Annapolis, MD - Coming off the momentum from his campaign kick-off on January 18 and a week of attending events in the community, Spencer Dove stopped by the Maryland State Board of Elections to officially file his Certificate of Candidacy to seek the Democratic nomination for State Delegate in Maryland's 32nd Legislative District.

"I look at the other candidates that have filed or stated their intention to run, and I feel that I bring a unique dynamic to the field," stated Spencer.  "Our voters deserve a choice this election.  The greatest public service I can provide to them is that choice.  This is an incredible honor and very humbling to file for public office."

A resident of Glen Burnie and Severn since childhood, Spencer understands our communities and the problems being faced.  He is running to give District 32 residents a pragmatic, strong voice that will bring people together to advance common-sense solutions for education, economic development, job creation, public safety, transportation infrastructure, fiscal responsibility, health care access, and environmental stewardship, among many other issues.  With four and a half years serving as legislative staff in the Maryland House of Delegates and a lifetime dedicated to public service through community work, Spencer believes he is qualified to represent and serve our community, not the establishment or special interests, in Annapolis on day one.

Spencer Dove is running for the Democratic nomination to represent the 32nd Legislative District in the Maryland House of Delegates.  A native Marylander, Spencer dedicates his professional and personal lives to serving our communities with the vision of making Maryland the best place to live, work, and visit.  For more information, please visit
